Don Beesley
We agree with President Kimball that visiting the Holy Land will literally change one’s life. And I do not believe anybody goes to the Holy Land by chance.
Don Beesley is a retired Institute Instructor and Director who had taught with the Church Educational System for almost four decades. He taught at the Brigham Young University Jerusalem Center for a year in 1991–92 and during the 1996 spring term and the 2000 summer term. He has been the director of numerous tours to the Holy Land for BYU Travel Study.
Dr. Beesley is eager to share his experiences in the Holy Land with others. His familiarity with the area, his love for the people, and his enthusiasm for teaching is clear as he helps tour members gain new insights and a better understanding of the scriptures by visiting historical sites of the Holy Land and feeling the Spirit there. The experiences of teaching, bearing testimony, and hearing testimonies of others borne at especially significant sites highlight each of his tours.
Brother Beesley is accompanied on his tours by his wife, Annette, who assists with lectures and assures the comfort and well-being of the tour participants. Brother and Sister Beesley have seven children and twenty-nine grandchildren.
